My situation is really strange. If someone, please, help me to figure it out.
About the year ago I have been approached by 2 FBI agents. They came to my apartment. They were asking me a lot of questions about my background (I have political asylum). They asked if I ever met with federal agents from different countries, if I delivered any packages to the foreign embassies, if I still keep contacts with friends from my own country. I met with FBI agents maybe 10 times. They were still asking me the same questions. Also, they showed me pictures of unknown to me people and asked if I knew somebody. In the begging, agents told me that during the procedure “name check” my name popped up and they just doing an investigation. Later, FBI agents said that I have been seen in a store and I made the contact with a foreign special agent…. And now to clarify my situation I need to take a polytrophic test. The problem is that I never did anything, never talked to anyone, never delivered any packages…. Agents are very insistent. They keep telling me to take that test. Otherwise, it would be “black marks” on my report and if I ever want to apply for Green Card or American Citizenship my application would be denied…
I asked FBI to show me my report or any proof of what they are talking about. And agents keep saying that all information is confidential and they cannot show me anything….
Can FBI threaten me with my immigration papers? If I need a lawyer do I need immigration, criminal or someone else? I don’t have anything to hide but I don’t want to take that test…  Do I have to? Can I bring a lawyer with me on the test?
Any suggestions????
