What kinds of questions were asked? I have never been arrested but have experimented with drugs in the past. I really want to be a cop... What happens if I admit to everything?
If you want to be a cop you should tell the complete truth during your entire application process.
If you disclose something that disqualifies you move on and apply at another agency. Different agencies have different standards.
Lying about your past is a horrible way to start a career that requires a tremendous amount of personal integrity.
If your past actions ultimately disqualify you from a career in law enforcement, that's too bad but that's the way it is. You made choices and now you have to live with them.
