my examiner told my that she didnt see anything bad and that I was basically telling the truth, and asked, what did I have scheduled in the future for this department. Am i worrying needlesly?
talonsx2,
Did the examiner ask you the last question while you were still "connected"? It appears that you have been successful. If the examiner didn't have a inquisitive "post test" debriefing, then it MAY be safe to assume that she didn't find anything out of the ordinary.
You should also read The Lie Behind The Lie Detector. This will give you more insight into the polygraph "exam" and also will answer many of the questions you are thinking of.
Keep us posted and GOOD LUCK

I just recently took a poly for the fire department. My question is that I admitted to some preaty bad things in my younger and adult years. Can you self incriminate? And I was reading posts where the poly examiner said good luck and the such and this person passed. Well my examiner told my that she didnt see anything bad and that I was basically telling the truth, and asked, what did I have scheduled in the future for this department. Am i worrying needlesly? Thanks for your input.
