I also suggest that you download and read The Lie Behind the Lie Detector. It will help you to understand how it was that you told the truth but were still accused of lying.

By the way, it was entirely inappropriate for the polygraph examiner to have told you that he knew you were lying before administering the "test." I suggest that you write a detailed memorandum about everything that went on during your polygraph examination. This will be helpful if you decide to take legal action.
