there are 2 books can think of that may help someone with taking a lie detector test. Both books by Swami Muktananda one entitled "I am That" the other book is "Mystery of the Mind." Both books help one see beyond ones own thinking in conjunction with Breath. Peace out

I did some work for an elderly lady around the house as needed for last 3-4 years as a handyman. She recently went into a wheelchair and her son took over micro managing the house. She wanted to add an appliance in her home to make it easier for her. They ask me for a quote so I go take a look to give an estimate while looking under the open accessible house to see how to accommodate other utilities after the electrician finished his job some days prior and her 30 something son hands me a flashlight. While looking around at framing I noticed bags and many containers of coins. I just minded my own business and did what I need to do to assess the situation not thinking too much about some coins. I pretty much forgot about it and didn't go back to the house. Well about 4 days go by and I get a call from the son saying some coins have turned up missing and if I took anything I should bring it back and his mom wont press charges. Son pretty much said I know you are the one who took the coins and called me a thief. I became very defensive towards his allegations. I recently volunteered to meet with a detective on the case and told him everything I saw that day. Everything in the interview was recorded. The detective asked at the end of the interview if I was willing to take a poly graph test and I said yes as long as it clears up my innocence. I had never been arrested for theft or accused of stealing nor did I tell anyone else about the eye witness of coins. I never touched the coins only saw and walked away. I turns out that the bags and containers of coins were all full of silver and gold. Maybe my innocence will be proven since the detective said it was waiting fingerprints and hopefully not be furthermore interrogated. When the detective mentioned I may need to take a polygraph test I told him I never took one before and he said I could go google the what the polygraph test is and stumbled across antipolygraph.org. and quickly discovered submitting myself to a poly graph could also erode any hope of proving my innocence. Thank you. I read the Lie behind the lie detector not to evade the truth in my own consciousness but to understand what I was subjecting myself to. Maybe the best thing to do if the detective calls back is to request State to provide an attorney due to my inability to pay for one. I feel a bit psychologically damaged from the accusations cannot sleep well. It feels like I am struggling to prove my innocence more than innocent until proven guilty.
