I know they talk to friends, family, and any associates. I'm talking about what they can actually see from running background checks on their computer.
Like is there a way for them to see if you came into contact with police half way across the country even if you weren't arrested? Just part of an investigation.
What exactly is stored in NCIC? I know it contains more than just arrest records? What if someone was detained but never arrested?
Like if detectives showed up at my hotel room because someone wrote an anonymous tip and said I had drugs? Even though I didn't. They searched the whole room.
It's important to realize that the BI'ors will have access to ANY information that law enforcement anywhere in the US has available on you. This is NOT by any means limited to arrests or convictions, but will include EVERY police contact you have ever experienced and EVERY incident report in which your name is mentioned even in passing. This will include any judgements, opinions, or inferences that the reporting officer may have made about you, no matter how ridiculous. Whether or not a citation was ever issued or an arrest made is simply IRRELEVANT !
