I agree.  People who believe in polygraphy probably also believe in voodoo, witchcraft, and psychics.  As in magic tricks, there is a logical explanation to everything.  We have all been to the doctor.  There are plenty of apparatuses that can monitor your breathing, heart rate, blood pressure, etc.  Even an MRI or something can monitor "brain activity", like if you are brain dead.  BUT NOTHING ON EARTH CAN READ YOUR MIND!  NOBODY KNOWS WHAT YOU ARE THINKING!  

I even believe that the polygraph seat sensor knows when you squeeze your ass.  Yeah, you can hold someone's arm and tell when they flex a muscles.  Again, common sense.  But when I sit in a polygraph chair for long hours being asked the same stupid questions, my  mind starts to wonder.  I think about sports, sex, past and future life events, and other stuff. Of course I'll show a "reaction" like an increased heart rate if I think about a sexy Playboy Bunny or fantasize about playing in the Super Bowl.  

There is a logical explanation to everything.  But nobody can read your mind.  That spill that polygraphers tell you about your body reacting when you lie is BS.  It is a shame to see people's careers ruined over this tomfoolery charade.

Polygraphers have posted on this site that they can detect mental countermeasures. They can read minds. Right? However, none have provided any evidence that they can do it. The challenge has gone unanswered for years. I have proven that I can squeeze the anal mussles and a better sensor than they use cannot pick it up. Sure if one doesn't know how to use the practice, they might detect the movement. Polygraphy is akin to sticking a needle in a rag doll. The only true utility of a polygraph is to gain a confession. Other than that, polygraphy is as useless as tits on a boar hog. Still our national security units use it to "protect" us. It will be this way until our stupid poluted-ticians get their heads out of their asses and legislate it out of business.

I would like to warn everyone about using countermeasures.  I hate the poly just as much as you do.  But I have learned that the polygraphers can detect several countermeasures.  I won't say how I know, but trust me, I KNOW!  You're breathing is measured very closely especially if those pneumatic tubes are on your chest, so you should not try to hold your breath, at all, not even for a second!  There are seat sensors, so don't squeeze your ass.  The tack-in-the-shoe thing you see on TV, forget it!  Biting your tongue is out too, as the polygraphers will watch you very closely during the test and the cameras in the room have very good resolution.  Don't even think about trying to secretly bite you tongue, they can see it!   

If you just have to try a countermeasure, something mental would be best.  Nobody can read your mind, not even the most advanced scientifc machine.  Your thoughts are the only private thing you have left in this world.  So if you can think of things in your mind to raise and lower your body responses to screw with the poly, you will be best off.   But only use mental countermeasures.  Anything you do physically can and will be detected.  The polygraphers are on to this site and all the countermeasures described in TLBTLD, and they even practice them on their own and learn how to read them.  If you are going to try any of them, only try the mental ones that can't be seen.  Or don't use any and roll the dice betting you can be "honest" and pass...
