And I just read the FAQ site and the info about how it works.  I sincerely wish I had found this beforehand.  Both of my FBI poly's were almost textbook for the information listed in the FAQ.  At the end, I categorically denied everything he had said in questioning my integrity, but I did write a statement - a statement that said I thought they were wrong.

It irritates me so much I could have possibly prevented these issues and could be at Quantico right now if I had said "Here's how it works" instead of "I'm not lying, what do I have to fear?"

It's ridiculous that this polygraph actually makes honest people look for methods to beat it because it is so messed up.

Hi all, I recently was given "inconclusive" on one question on my first (FBI) poly, then on a totally different one on the second poly I was given.  I was wondering if this was different than the "deceptive" I have read.  In addition, I would like to request an FOIA request for that - however, this took place in spring, and I am just now learning I have a recourse to see what went wrong.

In addition, is it too late to send a protest, and do my results preclude me from ever trying to work for them again?  I'm curious and would like to know without calling or emailing my coordinator.

I have a poly coming up in the next few months, and I wonder how I can prepare for this.  I have nothing to hide, but apparently that didn't matter.  I've had a clearance since I was 18, clean as a whistle, yet the results show other, and I really don't want to worry about it again.

How is the fight going to get the poly removed from federal law enforcement, since it is so stupid.
