I am taking the poly, and have a few questions about counter measures. I dont want to be the one that failed and told the truth. Let me get this right. Control questions are questions that are broad in range, and relevant questions are questions about what is happening at the current moment. Example of a controlled question. Have you ever used drugs. Example of a relevant question Are you using drugs now. I need some help on how to differentiate them. Also what are the best cms to use? I also have some questions on that. If I use the stop breathing method after every controlled question will they be suspicious. How would I know before hand if the polygrapher is going to ask a controlled or relevant question. I would take it that you start using mental math or tongue biting before he asks the question, but what if it is relevant, and gives a bad reading. What I am basically asking is what is the best way to use control measures during a polygraph? If anyone could give me a detailed example of how they used control measures I would appreciate it very much. This polygraph for me must be a pass, and any advice I could get would be great.
