In polygraph examinations, relevant questions are generally about specific acts. So-called "control" questions, however, may potentially concern whether a person would lie. Greetings: Do examiners want to know if you've actually done such-and-such a thing, or simply if you'd lie about not having done such-and-such a thing? I left the D.C. military intel community before being hooked up to a machine, but that's what most concerned me. (Of couse, I guess that's precisely what they want you to wonder.)
