I had to contact my investigator to find out the status, after completing the interview, booklets, fingerprints and other things back in March 2013. I was told that the only thing to do is to complete the APD-5A online and wait for the next class.(investigator didn't have the schedule/date)
She also mention that the headquarter will be the one who will contact me after I complete the APD-5A online.
Not sure if anyone else is in the same boat as I am.

I applied for PAA as well and I have started the process. I have filled out the booklets and now I am waiting for an appointment with my BI. I was assigned my BI in January 2013 and when I contact her she tells me that I need to wait for a certified letter with my appointment date because she is still on the July list. I didn't understand what she meant...What type of list is she talking about? And I was told to contact her within ten days or when my booklets were complete. I followed these rules but I don't know if it is normal for the process to take this long...she still hasn't gotten back to me

The interview is to inform you of the process in which you have to complete to officially become appointed. There are 2 booklets you will need to complete. You will include everything from your family members names, references, job listings (the absolute truth no bs jobs), detailed social security print out for last 5 years, gang affiliation, arrests, warrants, family member arrests, who you've visited in jail, high school records, identification, ss card, addresses of schools you've attended...Key is to be honest...They have ways of finding out exactly whats being asked of you...Its an honesty test if you ask me....$80 dollars in M/O for fingerprints and photo...Hmmm...Take the time to gather all required paperwork and you'll be just fine. Good Luck

Be prepared to be asked about all past jobs as well as any law enforcement contact, gang affiliation, infractions and other legal issues. Do not be offended, as it tends to get quite personal. Be straight forward and do not lie about anything.

I have the same exact question and criteria as you did. I know this is a very old thread but any chance you can let me know how the interview process was, and if in fact you got the job?
