I'm going to be vague because I haven't taken my test yet and I want to remain secure. I took a polygraph for one organization. Unfortunately I hadn't found this website and did not understand the polygraph. My first experience was a bad one, and I got dropped by the polygraph scam. I had one admission to make and the polygrapher kept backing me into the corner using vaguely worded questions and asking me to make assumptions about my admission. I passed the polygraph at the expense of the job based on the fact that the polygrapher twisted my words making me look immoral and even criminal.
I'm applying to another place that requires a polygraph and they ask if I have ever been rejected for a job of this kind.
What I am trying to ask is can they obtain the results of my prior test or are they confidential?
The reason I want to know is not so that I can lie to the new place, but because I worry that they will see the twisted assumptions I wrote and signed based on the leading of the previous polygrapher.
Please shed some light on this for me. It would really put my mind at ease.
Thanks, Poly
By the way thanks for the work you do. It is so degrading to feel the way that you do when you come out of the polygraph. Until you get educated you feel like a scumbag that the professional polygrapher caught! Polygraphy is so misleading and dishonest.
