I used to work for a federal client as a contractor through a direct vendor company is “A”. My team lead who has good grip with client, worked out a deal with vendor “A” such that we can work through his company “B” to my own company “C” as corp. to corp. & we would paid more. So in other words my w2 is run from my own company “C” & my company was getting 1099 from “B” & “B” is getting 1099 from “A”.
Now lead found another person who was ready to work less than me & he managed client & Vendor Company “A” & kicked me out. I even tried to talk to client but they did not want to go against the lead & lead did not like this.
Now I got another federal job & my question is 1. In sf 86 who should I write my employer as . Since I was getting my W2 from my own company should I use my company or should I use the company name of my lead or should I use company name primary vendor to client. 2. Since my lead is not ready to give a reference, what should I do, I’m sure that he would give me bad reference if I give his name. But in client records my work & my name is very good, can I give another colleague’s name from same client?
