I took polygraph about 9 months ago and it was horrible!! I was completely honest. I didnt think i had anything to worry about. However when we got to the "have you ever paid for sex" questions I answered no, since I had't. Then he kept pushing and pushing and talking about strip clubs and bachelor partys and suggesting things that I probably did and im just not admitting to. I insisted I had never paid for sex , and he said since I had paid for lap dances and things of that nature then i prob did. So at this point he put me down as having paid for sex twice ( when in reality i didnt !!!!!!! These two occurences were merely strip club lap dances years back that he (the poligrapher) turned into something that they were not!!!!! there was never any sex or anything like that !!!! Am I screwed for life now ?????? I feel so cheated!! Now twice in the past few months I have passed all the phases for two other departments and in the week before the academy start date they told me that they were revoking my conditional offer with a bullshit excuse of why. obviously this is the reason . What do i do PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Never short pay a hooker. They have a direct hotline to the Feds.

How do you know that the polygrapher put this in his report? Have you obtained a copy of it? If not, you might consider consulting a lawyer regarding what options you have 1) to obtain your polygraph record (which will be governed by state law, assuming this was not a federal agency) and 2) to correct any misinformation in it.
In many places (if not most), polygraphers receive their performance ratings based, at least in part, on admissions obtained, and some are not above polishing their own apple by embellishing or even fabricating admissions.
