I really like detective Davis for his help on internet and phone harassment.

100% professional, even have me his cell.

It changed my perspective on police. He had a daughter or relative commit suicide from being bullied and you can tell he is fueled by honest concern.

A few months ago I took the PQE exam. I did not receive my passing results until recently. I received a letter saying that I passed the PQE and have been schedule to take the PAT and begin background investigation. I am 31 years of age and have NEVER been convicted of anything at all. During the period where I was waiting for my PQE results I received a ticket while at the beach for a friends birthday where I was cited for having an open container. To my understanding this is a misdemeanor if convicted. I was not arrested nor was I detained in any way. As a matter of fact I arrived at the BBQ late and consumed half of a small can at which point I was cited. Either way it goes I feel horribly for being my age and not exercising better judgment. The problem I have at this point is that my background investigation will begin before my scheduled court date. I am definately going to notify my BI of the citation but at this point I feel that all is lost. Any advice given on how I should approach this situation will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

ref,

A bit of advice: First, stop typing in all uppercase, it indicates that you are yelling.
[Online etiquette 101]

Secondly, many LE agencies administer the test in which you question. It is not uncommon. [LE jobs 101]

Third, the world is not out to get you. It is clear from simply reading your previous post's, complaining about the tac officers picking on you, etc. Grow up. No one is picking on you. The career field in which you have selected is not the same as a career at the local Wal-Mart. They are often tough and stressful careers that are not for everyone. Perhaps you should consider some other less stressful career field.

PS:
I’m not being a jerk or picking on you. If you don’t like the answer, don’t ask the question.

IS THE L.A.P.D STILL DOING THAT PSYCOEDUCATIONAL TEST ON CERTAIN CANADIDTES? IT DOESN'T SEEM FAIR THAT NOT EVERYONE IS GIVIN THIS TEST. WHY DID THEY START DOING THAT TEST TO BEGIN WITH? IN MY OPINION I DON'T THINK THAT TEST WILL PREDICT HOW WELL YOU WILL DO IN THE ACADEMY. PLEASE ANSWER MY OUESTIONS.
