Only some agencies Poly. State DEFINITELY DOES NOT. Most top secrets do not require polys. Top secrets with SCI do for CIA, FBI, NSA, DEA, USS, and a handful of other agencies.

I cannot discern from reading here if it is only for TS clearances or people applying with FBI, CIA, etc. I personally know that I will only be needing a secret clearance and will be working as a contractor. I just found some really helpful info on this site. There is a link to Laws and Procedures of the Security Clearance. As the job I am applying for may be under DOD or State Dept, it appears that there is no Poly needed. Again anyone that can shed light on this would be appreciated.
