NEVER DO THAT ! That is what they want you to do.Tell yourself over and over in your mind that you have NEVER used drugs and after a couple of days your mind will *Believe*the lie and it will be conditioned for that specific answer.Please take my advise it worked for me .
And always practice a rhythmic breathing pattern.I passed poly for a high level security job,I did so well on the poly test the waved the drug screen test ! Believe in yourself YOU CAN DO IT !!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going in for a polygraph for my govt. employer.  I signed a statement saying that I never did any drugs after turning 16 years old (which is not true...  I'm not a real user by any means, but I had once in my life... after 16...  I didn't tell the truth there because I was scared and ashamed of it, I guess... )   

Anyway, my idea here is that...in the pre test, I am thinking of just admitting to doing the (minor) drug once before I turned 16.  This could, in theory, explain why I might be feeling apprehensive during the drug question.  And that way,  they couldn't say that I lied, because the employment sheet I filled out says to click 'yes' only if you did drugs after the age of 16.

I know you guys are all about *no admissions*! Since I wasn't truthful to begin with, though, I know I'm not in the right here... But anyway... in this case, could revealing this be more beneficial? Or would it just lead to further suspicion and accusations?   Does anyone have any thoughts/ experiences?  I'm a little jilted by the prospect of this test...so any help is appreciated...
