Depending on the agency with which you're applying, the risk of a false positive may be as high as 50%.

Hello there..!!

As condition of pre-employment I need to submit to a Poly test. I already read the whole book TLBTLD (Thanks George!) and the information is fascinating...!!!

I consider  myself a very honest person, but not exactly a "saint". I'm kinda nervous and when I get anxiety my palms sweat a lot. I do not want to use any CM's but will be aware of my respiration patterns and the "mind games" of the examiner. I want to answer the truth about all the questions, specially the drug use and lies to loved ones (yes, I have lie to my parents and used drugs before but I fall into the official guide lines for drug use).

What are my probabilities of becoming a "false positive"...??? I really do not want to use CM's because the test is tomorrow and have not practiced, also I do not think I have the guts for using them...!!!!

Will keep you posted guys...!!!
