Thats sweet that you know Royce.

My instructor trained at Torrance quite a few years ago as well.

I think Hughes is better on his feet, but Royce has the reach advantage that might allow him to overcome that deficit.

Either way, its going to be great.

Agreed. I actually know Royce Gracie personally--I used to train with him in Torrance quite a bit when I lived on the West Coast.

Submitting Matt Hughes will be a tall order. If Hughes is smart and tries to avoid being taken down--and stands up immediately if he is taken down (like Sakuraba did), it will be a long night for Royce.

Still, if Hughes plays his usual ground-and-pound game, there is a good chance he may leave an arm hanging and get submitted in the triangle like Dan Severn.

Without question. Everyone should watch. Anti-polygraph  or not, one cannot miss this historical match-up!

No lie.

I can't wait for this next UFC featuring the return of Royce Gracie to take on Matt Hughes.  Its also good to see Mike Swick and Diego Sanchez getting back in the octagon.

I am choosing Royce, who is your favorite for the main event?

Thanks, and remember May 27th, the return of Royce Gracie!!!
