There is no "protocol" for using atenolol in conjunction with a polygraph examination. In any event, it would be of dubious value in passing the most commonly used type of polygraph examination, the "control question test" (CQT). You'll find more effective countermeasures to the CQT outlined in The Lie Behind the Lie Detector.
