First, realize that a conditional offer of employment with the CIA is only one step of the process. Most people who get those types of offers ultimately do not end up getting a final job offer. So keep your options open. Likely it will take a long time before you even find out for sure one way or the other.
Second, a full scale (lifestyle) polygraph is much different than a CI polygraph. Be sure to read through the forums to get an idea of what to expect.

I was informed earlier today that the CIA is interested and wants me to take a LS Poly. I got out of the military about 6 months ago and have been unemployed ever since. I barely have enough to eat. This job came out of nowhere when I was close to giving up all hope. This test will be the most important hour or so in my life to this point. I worked at NSA for the last 4 years and took three CI poly's for them. CI polys are pretty easy with questions like "are you involved with a foreign woman" or "Have you ever plotted to bring down the US government?" The first two tests were inconclusive and the last one the dude stopped halfway through and started bitching at me for crappity smacking up although I did nothing wrong. I could not believe it and we got into a heated argument which ended the test. Finally he was just like screw it you passed and I was on my way. So I was never really sure if I passed or if he just let me slide. Needless to say I'm freaking out about this upcoming test and need some help. I have nothing to hide save for hitting the bong a few times in HS like 8 years ago. Where should I start for help?
