we will always share BI information with other agencies who request it. We get called a lot because the depth of our BI pre-employment is either legendary or notorious, depending I suppose on where you sit. We do not use the pre-employment polygraph.

I really am being honest, like I said, I even passed my poly today. Also I did not use any methods from this site. Interesting reading but I did not feel like I had to use it.
I think you are on the wrong site if you are holding up the fact that you “passed” your polygraph as proof that you are telling the truth. Even so…
Whoever is doing your current background investigation is not likely to call other agencies and ask what information you gave them on your application, unless he feels that you are not being forthright with him. Tell him the truth: that you lied to the first agency about marijuana usage because you didn’t think they’d ever find out, and then you “failed” your polygraph and believed it was because the machine “detected your lie,” so you decided to come clean with agency #2. The investigator is unlikely to believe that the number went up 500% as a result of an honest mistake, so don’t even try to sell him that story.
