Your classification of the questions (assuming these were to be asked during the "in-test" phase of a pre-employment polygraph examination) is correct.

from what i have read on the forums, this is what i think.

"Is there any illegal drug you have used that you have not told me about?"    control

"Have you lied about your driving record?"control

Received in advance PD Pre-Polygraph questionnaire with many questions including what will be asked during the test.  Have I correctly identified each question as control/relevant?

"Have you intentionally lied or withheld any information that will definitely disqualify you?"    -  RELEVANT 

"Have you lied about your military record?" - RELEVANT 

"Has your alcohol use ever caused you to commit a crime?"

- RELAVENT

"Is there any illegal drug you have used that you have not told me about?"   - RELEVANT

"Have you ever used steroids illegally?"  - RELEVANT

If you have never used illegal drugs, the question will be:  "Have you ever used any type of illegal drug?" - RELEVANT

"Are you now associating with anyone who uses illegal drugs in your presence?"  - RELEVANT

"Have you used any type of illegal drug since  ____________________________?  - RELEVANT

"Have you sold illegal drugs in excess of $______________________?"  - RELEVANT

If you have never sold drugs, the question will be:  "Have you ever sold any type of illegal drugs?"  - RELEVANT

"Besides what you have told me, are you withholding information about what else you have stolen in your entire life?"    - CONTROL?????

"Have you taken cash or property from an employer (past or present) in excess of 
$_______________________?"   - RELEVANT

"Have you lied or withheld information about being involved in any criminal activity?"   -RELEVANT

"Do you know of a warrant for your arrest anywhere in the United States?"  - RELEVANT

"Other than what you have told me, have you ever done anything in your life you should have been arrested for?"  - RELEVANT

"Have you lied about your driving record?"  - RELEVANT

"Have you ever participated in an unlawful sex act?"  - RELEVANT

"Do you personally know of any reason why you should not be employed by a law enforcement agency?"  - RELEVANT

"Have you intentionally lied or withheld any information that will definitely disqualify you?"  -RELEVANT

"During your entire background process, have you told even one lie or withheld anything?"  - RELEVANT


At first glance of the questions, I thought all the questions are relevant and maybe they would add control questions during the day of the test.  Test in a few days so I would appreciate any assistance.
