Don't take the polygraph. You have nothing to gain. This guy sounds like a real loser. Dump him.

While I think it would be best to refuse the polygraph, you'll find information on how to reduce the risk of a false positive outcome in The Lie Behind the Lie Detector, which you can download from here: http://antipolygraph.org/pubs.shtml See especially Chapters 3 & 4.
