A Google search turned up the on-line resume of a chief warrant officer in the Army National Guard who worked in his civilian capacity for Lockheed Martin at Guantanamo from December 2002 to April 2004. Under this section of the resume, the last item details his training as a CVSA operator:

The following page from the website of the National Institute of Truth Verification, which markets the Computer Voice Stress Analyzer (CVSA), confirms that the federal government is relying on this quack device (which the manufacturer has reportedly admitted in court is incapable of lie detection) for intelligence purposes:
To meet the worldwide truth verification needs of US Federal Government departments, agencies, and the military by providing best-of-class truth verification services, equipment and training.
To Date
GTMO, Iraq (DIA), US Army Counterintelligence, US Marine Corps Counterintelligence/HUMINT, US Army Special Operations, integrated into the US Army Biometrics Automated Toolset (BAT) system.
Since August, 2003, we have trained nearly 100 CVSA Examiners for DoD elements, and provided more than 60 CVSA systems which are being employed by various DoD elements in the Global War On Terrorism. After being deployed into areas of conflict, the CVSA proved itself to be a combat multiplier, enhanced force protection, and was able to validate time-sensitive intelligence on the battlefield.
Services
Worldwide-deployable experienced CVSA Examiners with Secret/Top Secret Clearances to conduct examinations/interrogations or provide mentorship to newly trained CVSA Examiners.
Program Management and technical expertise to large-scale CVSA programs and projects.
Customized Federal and Military CVSA training to meet specific operational requirements.
Customized CVSA equipment to meet operational requirements.
Provide expert advice and assistance, to effectively and efficiently employ the CVSA to conduct large-scale truth verification operations, such as screening and vetting local nationals or others who will occupy sensitive positions.
Applications
Military Intelligence, Counterintelligence, Debriefing, Interrogation, Special Operations, Force Protection, Law Enforcement, Security, Investigations.
A recent television news report mentions that the Special Forces are using Computerized Voice Analyzers (CVSA) to interrogate suspected terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan. Yet the device's manufacturer admits that CVSA is not capable of lie detection. See:
A 115-page report by former Guantanamo detainees Shafiq Rasul, Asif Iqbal and Rhuhel Ahmed documenting torture and other abuses by U.S. forces also describes the administration of both polygraph and voice stress analysis "tests" at Camp X-Ray. To the best of my recollection, this is the first documentation I have found of the federal government relying on voice stress analysis.
A synopsis of the report, titled "Composite statement: Detention in Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay," is available from the Center for Constitutional Rights here:
