Sandra, Polygraph testing has no scientific basis to begin with and the results are not to be relied upon. Among other deficiencies, polygraph "tests" is easily beaten through the use of simple countermeasures. See The Lie Behind the Lie Detector (1 mb PDF) for further explanation.
