Anyone with FBI knowledge --- Help !!!

The FBI website recently listed exact "audiological or hearing standards" qualification requirements for its special agent position.

Do you know if the FBI categorically excludes everyone who does not meet the baseline hearing requirements or do they ever make exceptions on this ?...For example, if someone's hearing is below the minimum, yet the person has never had a hearing problem or issue (and has a needed critical skillset such as arabic, middle east backgrund), would they make an exception or are they so firm and bureacratic, that they do NOT make any exceptions ? 
 
If someone completes the whole hiring process and is then notified that he/she is not accepted because he/she did not meet these medical hearing standards, is it possible that this "technically sound & legitimate" reason could have been used as an excuse to eliminate the person for other non-scientific reasons. 
 
Is there any way to contest it or is it even worth it? 
Would sending an appeal letter to someone at the FBI help at all ? 
 
Do you think that someone at the FBI looks at the whole file for a candidate and then makes a decision to hire/not hire or are the FBI's different hiring departments (medical, language, interviewing, SAR, etc...) so compartmentalized from each other that one does not know what the other has determined? 
 
Final question, Do you think the FBI has ever hired anyone in the past (or presently) that did not meet within their medical standards (be it hearing, vision, etc...) 
(in other words, do they ever make exceptions to their qualification requirements)? 
 
(i.e. If my dad was some senator or ex-fbi agent or politically conntected, would they make an exception or are they so "UPRIGHT & MORAL" thay they would not do such a thing ?...and if they do do that, then isn't that unfair to the common Joe who applies ?
