I would strongly advise against not disclosing previously failed pre-employment polygraph exams. Such Federal agencies as the FBI, DEA, US Customs, SS, etc do openly share polygraph exam results.
Not to mention, if you try to hide your previous unsuccessful polygraph history, then you would have to worry about responding to that specific question on any future polygraph exam. Generally speaking, one of the first questions any polygraph examiner is going to ask you is, what is your history with polygraph testing, have you ever taken a pre-employment polygraph exam, have you ever failed a polygraph exam, etc…you get my point..
Polygraph testing is unreliable, and depends on trickery and deceit. I do not and will not support a method of testing that is so vulnerable to any form of countermeasures.
Good luck.

i've failed to poly with 2 different departments. i was wondering how deep do other departments go on backround investigations and if they go to the other departments to find out about your poly, and if so do they get copies of it. so far i have disclosed one failed poly if i didn't disclose the other would they find out and if i did disclose it would they not consider because i've failed 2. need help before filling out any other applications.
