LB,

A lot of work needs to be done before polygraphy joins its rightful place next to phrenology and graphology in the trash heap of discarded bad ideas.

The creation of this website was, in my opinion, an important stride toward that end. We've taken direct action by making the truth about polygraphy readily available to the public at no cost. Polygraphy's survival ultimately depends on public ignorance of how it "works" (and doesn't).

You can join us in working to shatter the myth of the lie detector by telling others about what you've learned about polygraphy and referring them to AntiPolygraph.org. You can also contact your local media and ask to talk with a reporter about the planned polygraph dragnet of which you spoke. And you can contact your congressperson and senators and ask them to sponsor a Comprehensive Employee Polygraph Protection Act that would completely ban the polygraph and other pseudoscientific forms of "lie detection" like Computerized Voice Stress Analysis (CVSA), from the American workplace.

And if you haven't already done so, it's not too late to add your name to the on-line petition to President Bush asking him to end polygraph screening at the federal level by executive order.

Just how close is it that innocent, law-abiding citizens do not have to face the polygraph ever again?  I was just curious about what progress or strides have been made toward that end.  How can I help?

Thanks
