Thanks. I should have written, "Did you ever drive under the influence of alcohol?"

Since you do not drink alcoholic beverages, the question, "Did you ever drink under the influence of alcohol?" would not be an appropriate "control" question. Your polygrapher should know this based on the pre-employment questionnaire you completed.

I'm not aware of any agency that asks about driving while impaired as a relevant question. Nonetheless, if you were asked such a question after having explained that you don't drink at all, it would be safest to assume that the question is relevant.

I know you have answered alot of questions on this subject, but I have one more:
Since I do not drink, and I have detailed this on my pre-employment questionnaire, would a question related to impaired driving become relevant?
In TLBLD, you mention it is always a control.  What if one did drink but in their pre-employment quest. one said they have never driven impaired.  Would it then be relevant?

Thanks
