This means I will be putting up with the standard poly instead of the CVSA. Not sure if I should be relieved or not?I`ve read TLBLD and plan to follow it`s recommendations.

Mule,
If you look at what your facing, you are better off facing the polygraph. The CVSA, if you've been reading here, has NO validity testing by anyone but the MANUFACTURER!!!and you can rest assured that the "testing" will underscore the "accuracy". They have sold many LE agencies on this tomfoolery and many good people have been denied jobs because of CVSA.
You are on the right track. Keep studying The Lie Behind The Lie Detector and be prepared for your encounter. Knowledge is power, and by going into the "test" knowing what to expect and how to handle the examiners attempts to extort information will insure that you are successful.
Good Luck

Well I posted on here before that I was going to undergo a CVSA as part of a pre-employment background check.I`ve been informed that due to the large volume of candidates the agency hiring us will be contracting all background checks/polygraphs with an outside company. This means I will be putting up with the standard poly instead of the CVSA. Not sure if I should be relieved or not?I`ve read TLBLD and plan to follow it`s recommendations.
