ISAF Deletes Criticism of U.S. Government&#8217;s Handheld Lie Detector"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry\">\n<p>On Tuesday, 14 May 2013, NATO&#8217;s International Security Assistance Force (<a title=\"NATO International Security Assistance Force\" href=\"http:\/\/www.isaf.nato.int\/\">ISAF<\/a>) in Afghanistan posted to its <a title=\"ISAF: NATO forces in Afghanistan\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ISAF?hc_location=timeline\">Facebook page<\/a> a story about a program whereby U.S. forces in Afghanistan have been training Afghans in the use of a handheld &#8220;lie detector,&#8221; the Preliminary Credibility Assessment Screening System (PCASS)\u00a0 developed by the <a title=\"National Center for Credibility Assessment\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ncca.mil\">National Center for Credibility Assessment<\/a> at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Screen-shot-2013-05-15-at-7.57.06-AM.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-996\" alt=\"Screen shot 2013-05-15 at 7.57.06 AM\" src=\"https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Screen-shot-2013-05-15-at-7.57.06-AM.png\" width=\"431\" height=\"1080\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As you see above, AntiPolygraph.org co-founder George Maschke posted two comments and relevant links regarding PCASS that same day. By the following day, <strong>ISAF had deleted those comments:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Screen-shot-2013-05-15-at-8.10.35-PM.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-997\" alt=\"Screen shot 2013-05-15 at 8.10.35 PM\" src=\"https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Screen-shot-2013-05-15-at-8.10.35-PM.png\" width=\"431\" height=\"644\" srcset=\"https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Screen-shot-2013-05-15-at-8.10.35-PM.png 431w, https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Screen-shot-2013-05-15-at-8.10.35-PM-200x300.png 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 431px) 100vw, 431px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The deleted comments included a link to the AntiPolygraph.org message board post, <a title=\"How to Beat the Preliminary Credibility Assessment Screening System\" href=\"https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/cgi-bin\/forums\/YaBB.pl?num=1207756058\">&#8220;How to Beat the Preliminary Credibility Assessment Screening System (PCASS)&#8221;<\/a> and to the YouTube video post, <a title=\"Warning to U.S. Troops on Hand-held Lie Detector\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=y6hmEumtfvk\">Warning to U.S. Troops on Hand-held Lie Detector<\/a>:<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-responsive\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Warning to U.S. Troops on Hand-Held Lie Detector\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/y6hmEumtfvk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Why did ISAF delete these comments? ISAF&#8217;s Facebook page provides the following commenting guidelines:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Screen-shot-2013-05-15-at-7.42.30-PM.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-998\" alt=\"Screen shot 2013-05-15 at 7.42.30 PM\" src=\"https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Screen-shot-2013-05-15-at-7.42.30-PM.png\" width=\"436\" height=\"309\" srcset=\"https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Screen-shot-2013-05-15-at-7.42.30-PM.png 436w, https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Screen-shot-2013-05-15-at-7.42.30-PM-300x212.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 436px) 100vw, 436px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Nothing in the deleted comments included profanity, sexual content, hate speech or commercial, overly graphic, disturbing, abusive or offensive material, or was off-topic.
