The Lafayette Instrument Company<\/a> of Lafayette, Indiana, the U.S. government’s main supplier of polygraph instruments, has acquired Canadian polygraph manufacturer Limestone Technologies<\/a> of Kingston, Ontario. Lafayette announced the acquisition in a 22 August 2022 post<\/a> on its website:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lafayette Instrument Co. is pleased to announce its acquisition of Limestone Technologies on August 12, 2022.<\/p>

Both Lafayette Instrument and Limestone Technologies have decades of experience serving the credibility assessment community and expect a seamless integration.<\/p>

In 2017, Limestone Technologies acquired the Backster School of Lie Detection<\/a>, a polygraph school founded by the late Grover Cleveland “Cleve” Backster<\/a> (1924-2013) in 1959.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
