And the failure of their first film together, &#8221;Gigli,&#8221; could be the least of their problems. Foremost is likely the National Enquirer story&#8211;that has now taken yet another twist&#8211;about Affleck allegedly engaging in some raunchy behavior with a stripper in Vancouver.<\/p><p>The supermarket tabloid has challenged the actor to take a lie detector test on the matter, claiming that its sources on the story have already submitted to such a test and passed it. Affleck has angrily denied the story&#8211;though he&#8217;s admitted to being at the club with pals <strong>Tara Reid<\/strong>, and <strong>Christian Slater<\/strong> and his wife, <strong>Ryan Haddon<\/strong>. At this point, Affleck is considering &#8221;his legal options,&#8221; according to his spokesman.<\/p><p>But there is good news for the actor. The exotic dancer in question&#8211;known by her stage name, &#8221;Felicia&#8221;&#8211;may prove to be an important witness, if Affleck sues and the case ever gets to court. The stripper firmly denies that there was any physical contact with the Oscar winner, telling the New York Post, &#8221;We did a little show, and that was it. Put it this way. Brandi, the owner of the club, was watching the whole thing on a monitor. The absolute rule is no contact. That&#8217;s her liquor license on the line.&#8221;<\/p><p>As for taking a lie-detector test, Affleck&#8217;s rep considers that request &#8221;ridiculous&#8221; given that &#8221;it&#8217;s so clear that story is such a piece of total garbage. &#8230; This is now in the lawyers&#8217; hands.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chicago Sun-Times columnist Bill Zwecker reports.
