Excerpt: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Insisting Chandra Levy was randomly attacked while jogging, Rep. Gary Condit&#8217;s lawyer said yesterday he would advise him to take an FBI lie detector test &#8212; if asked.<\/p><p>&#8220;Yes, I&#8217;d strongly consider an FBI polygraph,&#8221; said Mark Geragos, Condit&#8217;s third lawyer. &#8220;If they thought that was going to help, I would say cooperate.&#8221;<\/p><p>Geragos said he hadn&#8217;t mentioned it to Condit because police have not made a request. &#8220;Nobody&#8217;s asked me,&#8221; he said.<\/p><p>Condit fueled suspicions last year by refusing to take an FBI lie detector test. Instead, he paid a private polygrapher to administer a test, which he passed.
