Key government policy documents that were previously unavailable to the public are now readily accessible to all, including the <a href=\"https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/documents\/federal-polygraph-handbook-02-10-2006.pdf\">federal polygraph handbook<\/a> and administration guides for such polygraph techniques as the <a href=\"https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/documents\/tes-administration-guide.pdf\">Test for Espionage and Sabotage<\/a> (TES), the <a href=\"https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/documents\/cbp-tes-c\/tes-c-sop-2019-03-13.pdf\">Test for Espionage, Sabotage, and Corruption<\/a> (TES-C), and the <a href=\"https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/documents\/ncca-lepet.pdf\">Law Enforcement Pre-Employment Test<\/a> (LEPET).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AntiPolygraph.org has made <a href=\"https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/read.shtml#countermeasure-files\">extensive documentation about polygraph countermeasures<\/a>\u2014information both the federal government and the polygraph community at large have actively sought to keep hidden from the public\u2014readily available and free for all who seek it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, we&#8217;ve done original reporting and commentary on polygraph-related topics, most notably on our <a href=\"https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/blog\/\">blog<\/a>. We have never revealed the identity of a source who requested anonymity, and we&#8217;ve never received a secret government order for information about any of our visitors or sources. In recent years, we&#8217;ve made available <a href=\"https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/cgi-bin\/forums\/YaBB.pl?num=1550898639\">a means for secure and anonymous submission of files<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We avoided an apparent <a href=\"https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/blog\/2013\/11\/03\/an-attempted-entrapment\/\">entrapment attempt<\/a> in the federal government&#8217;s misbegotten <a href=\"https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/blog\/tag\/operation-lie-busters\/\">Operation Lie Busters<\/a>, in which federal polygraph operators targeted individuals who provided instruction on how to pass or beat a polygraph &#8220;test&#8221; for entrapment and criminal prosecution, and we provided <a href=\"https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/blog\/2015\/05\/12\/u-s-v-doug-williams-day-1\/\">on-scene reporting<\/a> from the courtroom in Oklahoma City where prominent polygraph critic <a href=\"https:\/\/polygraph.com\">Doug Williams<\/a> stood trial in 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the years, we have also received and rejected take-down demands from lawyers for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/blog\/2009\/03\/21\/antipolygraphorg-receives-and-rejects-a-copyright-takedown-request\/\">NCS Pearson<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/blog\/2009\/09\/15\/polygrapher-patrick-t-coffey-threatens-lawsuit-demands-retraction\/\">Patrick Coffey<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/blog\/2019\/06\/28\/pseudoscientist-dr-charles-humble-attempts-to-censor-antipolygraph-org\/\">Charles Humble and NITV Federal Services<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>AntiPolygraph.org continues to host the internet&#8217;s pre\u00ebminent <a href=\"https:\/\/antipolygraph.org\/cgi-bin\/forums\/YaBB.pl\">forum<\/a> for discussion of polygraph-related topics, with nearly 6,000 registered users and over 44,000 posts. We have privately responded to inquiries from thousands of individuals as well as numerous press inquiries and interview requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In recent years, AntiPolygraph.org has also provided pro bono consultation for both prosecution and defense in various legal matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks are due to all who have helped to make AntiPolygraph.org a success over the years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We look forward to continuing our efforts to educate the public about polygraph matters, to assist polygraph victims, and to ultimately bring about the abolishment of the pseudoscience of polygraphy.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Friday, 18 September 2020 marks AntiPolygraph.org&#8217;s 20th anniversary online.
