On 25 September 2015, federal judge Vicki Miles-LaGrange sentenced<\/a> Doug Williams, who pled guilty after he was entrapped in a federal sting operation called “Operation Lie Busters,” to two years of imprisonment to be followed by three years of supervised release “[u]pon release from imprisonment.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Williams had taught two undercover federal agents how to pass or beat a polygraph “test.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Williams was released from prison<\/a> on 26 July 2017, and thus his three years of supervised release expired on Sunday, 26 July 2020. Williams’ terms of supervised release had prohibited him from participating “in any form of polygraph-related activity during the period of supervision.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Williams plans to resume offering training on how to pass or beat the polygraph, and his website, Polygraph.com<\/a>, now includes the following notice:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
